Back in November 2016 white rhino bull Otto, 19 years old, left Colchester for Woburn (UK). The aim is to introduced him to the resident females Mirjam, Mtubatuba and Mkuzi in the hope for offsprings.

In Colchester still resides Flossy, an old female, Astrid, the younger of only 3 years old, and Emily, who is pregnant and due to give birth very soon. There is also a younger male: he is Otto and the late Cynthia’s son, Mabaso.

If everything goes well Otto will return to Colchester in one or two years.
