We are happy to report that two Indian Rhino births have occurred during the last two weeks.

At Berlin Tierpark (DE) Indian Rhino couple, Betty and Belur, welcomed a new baby: a healthy baby boy. For mom Betty he is the seventh one! The unnamed male was born at 8:42 AM of Wednesday 5 September 2018 after a gestation period of 482 days. Here you can see the very first video of the new one exploring the exhibit.

San Diego Safari Park (California, USA) welcomed the third baby rhino of the year: on 9 July 2018 experienced mom Tanaya welcomed a male calf that has been called Tio. No further information is available but we suppose the baby’s dad is Bhopu.
