Salyane was born in 2013 in Beauval (FR) as first child for mom Saathi and dad Sahib. The zoo this year has welcomed another little indian rhino, Gainda, from the other female Henna; so they need room for the newborn. Infact the young lady Salyane has left the zoo for a new home: the Touroparc (FR). She is gonna meet another female called Maruska, born in 2014 in Pilsen (CZ) and a male, Fanindra. It is hoped for them to become a breeding trio as soon as the ladies will reach sexual maturity.

Meanwhile in Beauval (FR) there is the chance for Saathi to be reintroduced to Sahib in the hope for them to breed again.
