During the nightly hours of Sunday April 28, Eastern Black Rhino Malaika in Magdeburg (DE) gave birth to her third calf. The little unnamed male is doing fine, even if he was born a bit earlier than anticipated (he was expected in latter May).
He is the ninth rhino calf born in Magdeburg and the second born alive from Malaika and Madiba: the bull is genetically very important because he was born wild.
