We are delighted to report that Sigean Southern White Rhino crash grew up by one!

During the early hours of Tuesday 4 September 2018 first-time mum Lima gave birth to her very first calf, a healthy baby boy. You can follow the calf’s first moments in this video published on the official Facebook page here

Lima is a really young female, since she is also 6 years old: she is one of the youngest females to have given birth this year.

It is not known who is the calf’s dad. Probably he is the male called Edgar.
