Another beautiful news from Lincoln Park Zoological Gardens, Illinois: Eastern Black Rhino Kapuki is expecting her second calf. Her due date is extimated around May 2019.

Kapuki’s is the second Eastern Black Rhino pregnancy announced so far this year in USA.

The calf was fathered again by Makuu, one of the two males that resides in the Facility. Kapuki and Makuu had their first calf in 2013, a male called King that resides at Chicago Zoological Society (in this site referred as Chicago-Brookfield), Illinois, since 2016.
