On 24 march 2017 Zoo posted this video on its official Facebook Page. It suggests that Eastern Black Rhino female Bashira, almost 8 years old, could be expecting her second calf for July or August 2017!

Her first calf, two years old Mandela, is now grown enough to start a life on his own. It is unclear where Mandela will be transferred, but once it was contemplated the possibility for him to be released in the wild.
