Tallinn Zoo (EE) announces that black rhino Kibibi is expecting a calf.

She is due to give birth in June/July 2017.

Kibibi came from Krefeld Zoo (DE) in 2013: she was born back in 2010 as third calf for Nane and Usoni, the same couple that this year welcomed little Najuma.

Her mate is black rhino bull Kigoma who was born in 2010 in Berlin Zoo (DE) to mom Maburi and dad Jasper.

The two are now an official breeding pair as they hopefully will welcome their first born in summer 2017.
