Beautiful news directly from Nyíregyházi Állatpark (located in North-Eastern Hungary): a baby Indian Rhino boy was welcomed in the last hours of the afternoon on Wednesday 26 September 2018. The parents are 10 years old mom Jasmin and 14 years old dad Hans (formerly named Nepal).

This baby boy is not the first one, because last year in spring mom Jasmine gave birth to her very first calf, but unfortunately he didn’t survive.

Both parents are genetically valuable and we hope that this is the first calf of a long streak.
