Really good news from Japan!

Black Rhino Lora from Kanazawa (JP) is expecting a baby and she will give birth very soon!

This will be her 7th calf and her/his name will begin with letter G because the Zoo follows alphabetical order in naming calves. Infact, Lora’s first baby is called Argo, the second Bibi and so on.

Lora and her mate Ron welcomed six calves before, as you can see in their personal pages on our site!

Will this baby be born as the 11th Black rhino in zoo worldwide on this surprising 2016 year or will be the very first of the 2017?

We just have to wait!
