Recently, two young Rhinos left the native Facility to reach a new place where they will spend the next years to come.

The first one is Bayami: she is a Southern White Rhino born in France (Amnéville) in July 2016. She was transferred in UK (Knowsley) on 19 March 2019 and she will be introduced soon to the big crash of Rhinos that resides there. Knowsley has recently welcomed another young female from Germany, called Keeva. It seems that Knowsley is changing some dynamics between its older Rhinos, probably with the aim to start again the succesful breeding program that is trudging since 2012, with only a female producing calves (probably she is too dominant over the other and there are two pairs mother-daughter that in our humble opinion need immediately to be splitted).

Also, there is a rumor that suggests a new Bull scheduled to arrive in the next months. We will see what is next!

Brexit accelerates the move of another Rhino: Indian Rhino Sanjai from Nürnberg arrived in Edinburgh on 20 March 2019. This young bull, just turned 2, has left his mum, Sophie, a little earlier than usual. This is not a problem, since between mum and son were observed some difficulties during the previous weeks: this is normal in the wild, when the calf is ready to leave the mother that is going to give birth again.

Sanjai will spent the next years in the Facility forming a bachelor group with the other young Rhino that resides there, Qabid.
