With great joy we can announce that the second baby Indian Rhino conceived through artificial insemination in the USA was born at Buffalo Zoo (New York, USA). The baby’s mom Tashi, 22 and an half years old, gave birth to her firth calf on 19 June 2019. This baby is a male and weighted at birth around 50 kilos.

For Tashi is the second baby conceived through artificial insemination. The baby’s half-sister was born in April this year through the same method. For both calves the dad is Suru.
