Nala was the first white rhino ever born in Schmiding (AT) and she came as first child for rhino couple Niki and Brutus in 2012. She has a half brother born in 2014 named Django who was born to a different mother, Valeria/Nina.

Schmiding is welcoming another white rhino female of the same age of Nala. Her name is Renètte. 

Nala is going to stay at La Palmyre (FR) where she’s gonna live with Renètte’s parents, Christian and Noelle.
