A baby female was born on 12 September 2016 in Tampa’s Lowry Park (Florida, USA) , just in time for Worl Rhino Day 2016!

The new one, still unnamed, is the fourth baby for mum Kidogo, who has given birth to Kito in 2010, Khande in 2011 and Khari in 2013.

Dad is White Rhino bull Ongava.

Mum and calf will spend some time together off-exhibit, in order to strenghten their bond.

Last year another female, Ahadi, was born to first time mum Alake.
