Saint Louis (Missouri, USA) announced through its official Facebook Page that Eastern Black Rhino Kati Rain has successfully gave birth on 17 May 2017.

Her second baby (much anticipated) is again a male, after Ruka in 2011, and has been named Moyo, which means “heart” in Swahili.

The little boy is described as healthy, he is well cared by his mum and he is delighting his keepers with his funny discoveries, as you can see in this video .

Mum and baby are off-exhibit now and a date has not been set yet for the public debut.

Proud dad is Ajabu.
