On 7 March 2017 White Rhino Tala, 18 years old, delighted Keepers with a little baby on her side.
The calf, a healthy male, has been called Timbo and weighted 60 kilos at birth. He’s Tala’s second calf, following brother Zimba in 2008.
Tala came in Amnèville back in 2014 from Dalton in Furness (UK), switching place with another female, Manzi. Perfect moove in the EEP frame: even Manzi welcome her first calf in December 2016.
Timbo’s dad is White Rhino bull Benny, that sired two calves before: Shango (born in 2014) and Bayami (born in July 2016).
