Great joy for the second baby Eastern Black Rhino born to proud parents Jomo and Azizi.
The calf, a female, was born on Wednesday 15 March 2017 in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania,USA).

Zoo staff noticed that Azizi, 16 years old, was restless during Wednesday and they suspect the birth was coming. Trough cameras installed, they were able to follow the process without interfering. They assures the calf is doing fine and they will closing monitor her mum, too.

Azizi (Anna) and Jomo welcomed another calf in 2012, a female named (Janine) Josie, that now resides in Milwaukee (Winsconsin, USA).

Congratulations !
